Booth photos

These were taken at the last craft fair I was at.

It was pretty windy so the second day I used my weight bags and put my banner on the other side of the canopy. No walls the next day either.

I will have a booth, so I am busy, busy this week trying to build up my inventory! Both kilns will be getting a work-out this week as will the saw & grinder!

I was going to post some photos of recent work, but I really need to get back out to the studio! I will try to post some photos tonight.

Interruption

Sorry for the interruption in my posts. I disabled all of my blogs for a few days. But I am back now and Playing with glass!!
Here are some photos of recent work:
Bar light from a Crown bottle

I only did the glass part - cutting & drilling the bottle & sealing the labels. My husband came up with the mounting idea. We wanted them to be removable to keep them out of the weather and to keep them from being "taken".

Templates

I finally decided to make some templates for drilling the holes in the wine chimes. I mark all of the pieces with a paint marker, but sometimes they still don't come out even. I still want them to look "hand crafted" not machine made, but a little more consistent.
Doug was cutting 2x4's for a project he was working on, so I asked if he had leftover wood to cut some small pieces for me.

So hopefully these save me a little bit of time and the holes are a little more uniform.
The "P" side is for the Pinnacle bottles - they are a little wider. Obviously the "W" is for wine bottles.
